OUR SOCIAL RIDES ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED
Every Saturday we have a Social Ride which leaves from the shop at 9:00am. These rides are generally for the slightly more experienced road cyclists as we ride at an average 15mph for between 25-30 miles. We have many local cyclists who join us regularly creating a group of between 10 and 30 each Saturday. We sometimes split into 2 or 3 groups depending on numbers and experience. Our regular routes take us out to Stock, Ingatestone, Margaretting, Mountnessing, Highwood, Blackmore, Bulphan, Bicknacre, Hanningfield and Cock Clarks along some of the quietest, most beautiful country lanes of Essex.
Just turn up - it's free and fun!
The cyclists who join us are local guys and girls who just want to ride in a group, improve their fitness and cycling skills and enjoy some social cycling banter! Riding with a social group is more rewarding than solo riding. We are fully insured as a member of the national cycling charity CYCLING UK and always have a leader and rear rider to control the group.
